MY ROOFTOP IN THE SKY

I’d like to share this photo and poem with you. I recently got a new lens for my camera, which meant I had to use a tripod and remote shoot from my iPad as my tremors are quite bad when my medications for Parkinson’s has worn off. Which is quite a lot.  When I was looking at the photo, these words just came to me.

I HAVE, HAVE YOU?

I HAVE, HAVE YOU?

Ever felt, Invisible, I have

Ever felt, like everyone is looking, I have

Ever felt, Alone, I have

Ever felt, Sad, I have

Ever felt, Happy, I have

Ever felt like, Disappearing, I have

Ever felt, Frightened, I have

Ever felt, Scared, I have

Ever felt, Wrong, I have

Ever felt, Right, I have

Ever felt, so Tired, I have

Ever felt, Weak, I have

Ever felt, Strong, I have

Ever felt, Overwhelmed, I have

Ever felt, Underwhelmed, I have

Ever felt, Pain, I have

Ever felt like, Giving up, I have

Ever felt like, Running away, I have

These thoughts that run through my mind, most every day

No-one would know, because in my head they stay

Until now, when all of a sudden, they needed to come out

This way, I can write them down, I have no need to shout

These thoughts are still there inside my mind, and there they will stay

Im not going to let them rule my life, or spoil my day

This has been my choice in all the years that have gone

So I’ll just ignore those thoughts, Smile, Stay Strong, Live my Life & Carry On .
